2019 PROSPECT CAMP

What to expect:

A skill and competition-based camp designed for high school athletes who are interested in playing collegiate softball. The skills aspect features practice-like drills and stations in the morning while the competition side features live scrimmages in the afternoon. Head Coach: Ryan Konitzer

Coach Ryan Konitzer is entering his 3rd season at UWSP.

2019 Pointer Highlights:
•    Recorded most wins since 2013.
•    Lauren Luedtke, WIAC Conference
Player of the Year.
•    Recorded 59 stolen bases, second most in school history.
•    Three all-conference players.
•    .315 Season Batting Average to lead WIAC.
•    Recorded third most double (69) in school history.

Coaching Highlights:
•    NFCA Regional Coaching Staff of the Year (2011).
•    Coached four Conference Player of the Years, including
one NFCA First-Team All-American.
•    Four regular season conference championships.
•    Two NCAA tournament appearances.

Guest Coach: Lauren Haeger

Lauren is currently a part of The Packaged Deal roster and runs private hitting and pitching lessons at The Softball Project in North Carolina.
Career Highlights:
•    Played 4 seasons in the NPF (2015-2018).
•    2x National Champion: University of Florida.
•    2015 Honda Award for softball.
•    2015 USA Softball National Collegiate Player of the Year.
•    2015 SEC Female Athlete of the Year.
•    2015 WCWS Most Outstanding Player.
•    2015 & 2013 NFCA All-America First Team.
•    2015 SEC Pitcher of the Year.
•    2015 & 2013 All-SEC First Team.
•    2015-2012 NFCA All-Southeast Region First Team.
•    Nominated for two ESPY Awards.
•    Joined Babe Ruth as the only players in Division I softball, baseball or Major League Baseball history to reach the 70-70 plateau (career victories and career home runs).
